Check Engine Light
Ok i got an SCT tuner and i want to remove the MIL elminators for the check engine light. If i use the tuner to tune off the light does that remove the check engine light for all error codes or just the code for the cats being gone. I have read the manual and couldnt find this information. Thanks in advance

Just for the cats. It shuts off the downstream 02s only. All other codes will still pop.

exactly... it will even pass state inspection for emissions like that, because it will show the mil status as good, however, if they check for cats, it will fail the "safety" inspection

thanks guys for the quick response. the place i go to only check blinkers, horns, and turn signals lol you dont even have to get out of the car
