can someone help me with this.......i hooked up a mac cai to my 2000 gt and at 1st the check engine light was not on i drove it up the street and back and then i realized that the check engine light was on then i checked everything and the little sensor that slides into the cai wasnt hooked up well i hooked it up and the light still comes on.....help me please????

Try disconnecting the negative terminal for about a minute, and then reconnect it.

yup thats your problem(if u did not disconnect it prior to the install)

i think it takes longer than 1min for your KAM to reset tho. i would leave it off for like 10 min

car is still a POS...LOL just playen mike...put the throttle body and plenium on it, headers and slam it with some cobra rims...sweeettttttttt!....and me would turbo it...but thats just me...haha
