Chili Festival

Is anyone here going out to the Chili Festival in Snook at the end of the month ?. I know its relativly close to college station so I was wondering if any of y'all were gonna head out there. I will probably be making a road trip and meeting a couple other people while im out there, but if any of y'all are local and got the time to catch a burger or somethin lemme know.

ill be around, but i probably wont be at chili fest. costs too much for me.

mike, if you're still interested in a team, im not sure if the registration is already over, but my neighbors put a team together...

but back on topic, im down for catching a burger. ever been to fitzwillys up here? its the place to go for a good cheap burger and a beer.
if i remember right, its 4.99 for a 1/2 burger, fries and a draft beer of your choice.

lol no. Me and some friends drove through a little town called Vider last weekend, and man we were not getting the friendly faces. Gangsta? Far from it. It was more of a joke, I don't know anything about this Snook place. Friendly town I guess? The chili cook off sounds like fun.

nah, it is all friendly. It is in snook, but everybody there goes to A&M basically. It is a real college like atmosphere.

I've heard, don't know if it's true, that Vidor is like, home of the KKK in Texas. When I drove through it was a bunch of rednecks, I swear I heard "squeel like a pig" off in the distance.

so is there a lot of interest in going to the chili cookoff? i don't mind going. I haven't driven my car in months. One of the tires got a hole in it, so I don't know when I can drive it. But I am interested in going.
