Christmas Lights

Todays edition of the SA Life in the express news has a few places to go see the lights. Which means tomorrow (sunday) should have the listing of places to go see all around.

windcrest lights

my and my girlfriend had some time to kill last night, so we went out to windcrest (just north of walzem) to check out the xmas lights. I must say, i was very impressed!! I've never seen so many houses decorated.. i definately give it :jeff: :jeff:

coming from your house john, take 1604 East to I-35 South, get off at Walzem rd (right b4 windsor park mall) and do the turnaround, and you'll see "circuit city" and "cavenders boots" on the right, turn into that parking lot and go into the neighborhood right behind "cavenders"; and that is windrest.

thats the easiest way i know how to get there. good luck :jeff:

if there is too much traffic, the houses by bandera/ braun station are pretty nice... its not as extreme like windcrest. but every other house will be blingin'

yeah those are that way every year... i went this year, its like a clause when you buy the house. The neighbor hood FORCES you to put up lights, or like its a law lol. Seems every house has lights.

haha. when i saw the first couple of houses, i thought, damn, thats a bit much... but the more and more i saw, i noticed some really nice houses- beautiful setup- and so now when i see houses with alot of lights that just doesnt look good. i am like: "damn, they're slacking. whats up with that??"
