awesome, was hoping someone would come back. i didnt like the sonic scene too much either when i was there the few times. unfortunately, we'll need a few more than 3 people to go out to kroger. would be pretty boring with just us 3, haha. im going to start driving around sometime this weekend, dropping cards on cars for some new members. seen a couple of nice 05's out there recently, and a black mach1.

mike, i wont be able to make it out to sonic tomorrow night anyways i dont think. our ladies are coming in around 2PM so ill be pretty occupied for the night.

i like going up to sonic and i have met some cool people there. The meet there has more consistency and they are not a bunch of haters like many of you assume so i don't understand why so many of y'all are anti sonic. I'm the youngest person out there and i enjoy all cars. Those of you that attended over a year ago should realize that things change. only 3 mustangs does not make for a fun parking lot meet, but 3 mustangs, some ls1's, some lightnings, some built 60's and 70's muscle cars makes for a good time. everyone in this thread already stated how they would not be able to make a meet this friday anyway for various reasons and this follows the typical trend that we have seen in the past. hell, the ricers are more dedicated than the stangers in college station.

i see your points, and yes i understand, but when you stopped coming around last year was when we started having 20-30 stangers regularly at kroger. it just takes a little bit of dedication and recruiting.

and, sonic... i get hated on for being an "ungrateful bastard" after driving parts down to SA for a certain someone, then bringing their money back for them... so i dunno.

redrum, move on from the ungrateful stuff, that was one person that doesn't even come out there anymore. I do agree that some people get turned off from sonic, but it is because they come out and try to bullshit about stuff they don't know, offend people, therfore get hated on, and never come back. I like it when that happens for the fact that I hate it when young kids that don't know crap about cars come out and actually lower my IQ by forcing me to listen to thier absurd impractical dreams and magazine limited knowledge about the automotive world. In addition I just don't see it necessary to have separate car meets when there isn't a huge following with either make. It is a college town and that is what kills the consistency. Hell, there is plenty of space out at sonic for a separation of makes and models if necessary. Plus, i can order a tasty burger and beverage while i bs with everybody. you need to come out there before you become so decisive on what takes place there. There is also another meet in Bryan on wednesdays at the new HEB if interested.

even in San Antonio... we don't have "mustang only" friday night meets. Biff's is open to anyone.

sure, we try to park all by each other... but it's not limited to only mustangs.

This friday im off work and i should be getting my SLP Loudmouths during the day so if i get them and get them installed by 10 ill be good to go.
