If you still have the eaton, you will be around 500hp. the stock injectors are fine. when you get up to 600 change to the 60's. stock rails are fine. you will probably need to do the pprv delete at the pumps/ fuel hat. if not you might have hessitation.

I am running a Whipple and it can support 30psi according to spec but, I don't ever see the need for that much. I am looking for 600-650hp max and as of now I got the Whipple and an accufab with no upgrade to the fuel system. I am looking for high end punch and maximum MPH, and realy don't wanna run lean up @ the top. As that is where I wanna spend a lotta time.

is it the 2.3? if so, i dont know about 30 psi? for the street you will want 19 max on pump gas. on race gas 21-23. any more, you might be pushing it on the stock motor. you should be find with 60's, a bap, and the pprv delete.

I just checked out your profile. A fellow cobra owner... got any pics of your ride? Do you go to any of the rides or meets?

I try to make them when I can. The 140 is good. trust me, not too many cars will be able to touch you on the street at 600. just get some good DR's. I have some old pics somewhere, but hopefully I will be updating them as soon as I get it back.

yeah, but I haven't heard of anyone running it at 30 psi. I believe it gets too hot and hp suffers. I would stay at 23-25 max on race fuel and 18-19 on pump gas. I had mine at 17 and it was a beast. get my car back i meant. what time is it there? morning?

It's 1100 , here. I would never run that high PSI, gonna stay under 20. future plans call for an aluminator motor but, not the near future. LOL This thing is my toy and I am gonna go show the Italians where I am stationed what modular American muscle is all about! And that you don't have to spend 250,000. Euro to go fast and have respect.

Your gonna need 60# or better injectors, I may not have a Cobra or be blown, but I do build these engines.

Running over 20 psi will have your pistons looking like melted aluminum.

I took a few pix with my cell phone today, I forgot to bring the actual camera.
All I can say is this thing sounds killer nasty like omfg !!

I actually finished up all the exhaust today from headers to tips, man, what a difference in sound. I have full Bassani on my 2V and it does not sound like yours at all... I am jealous now.
Here is some progress...

Do you always remove the k-member to do headers and how long does it take you to complete a header job like this?

It is easy to remove the k-member. Some header designs make it impossible to do without removing the k member. The fixed style headers are my least favorite to do.

Yes Danny its always removed for clearance purpose due to the numerous different styles of Long tube style headers out there for 2v and 4v cars. A complete exhaust job( lt, mid pipe, catback) can take 6 hrs straight from front to back but calls for right around 8.5+ depending on what brand, and previous exhaust mods.
