Well today i got my 4th ticket in two years..... 77mph in a 60 zone.... what sux is not only do i have to pay tha ticket but my parents took the car away for two weeks so i'm rollin in the mini van!!!!!! It's alright though the van is at least a 10sec. beast!!!!!!!!!! LOL Damn i hate paying tickets.

hey, that's what happens. i'd have some sympathy for you if it was a chickenshit ticket i.e. 7 over, but 17 over is a bit much.

either way, before paying the ticket check Find A Lawyer, Attorney, Attorneys, Law Firms, Search Directory - Lawyers.com to see if there are any traffic lawyers in your area. they can make life much easier!

Get a radar detector, a nice one. They're not a guarantee against tickets but i havn't had a ticket since i've gotten mine. 17 over is a bit much but 4 tickets isn't that bad. I've had i think 10 total since i got my license (6 years) but none since Kat and I split a V1.

Wanta bash someone Ive had 115 in a 45 or 70 over but I aint complainig cuz as the saying goes:
If you wanta play you gotta pay.

However dont just pay it man take Defered Ajudication (probation) or try for a D/D course. I havent outright paid a ticket (except example above) in over 10 yrs.

As for 4 in 2 yrs Ive had 4 in 3 months ( i used to travel to CC every weekend)

But yeah get a radar detector they aint perfect but they help

Tickets suck, plain and simple.

Its also easy to go 77 in a 60. There is a stretch of 1604 between Bandera and Braun where the speed limit drops from 70 to 55. So figure you're going 7 over and then blammo its now 22 over, popo likes to hide on the hill also.

For 17 over, I wouldn't bother. Deferred adjudication and defensive driving are both things you can request on your own.

Yep i got pulled over today but for a much more BS reason. Definitely no speeding, but i got a ticket for my front plate (bs) and for my address on my license (didn't wanna accept i was a full time student still). I have full intention of fighting these....Hope i can find time with work
