???decals off??? - Page 2

personally i HATE those stripes however due to fading...

so guys i finally got the guts to peal off the decals. tell me what you think.
decals came off real, real easy had no problems for the exception for one lil' portion on the passanger side near the back fender where it left a lil' bit of sticky residue. i tried some stuff to get it off but still no luck. any suggestions.

goo gone should work just do it at night (so the paint isnt too hot) and dont leave it on there too long...

looks good mang, yeah read the label on goo gone and goof off. One of those is safe for the car.

no but i used some of the goo-gone and it worked well. thanx's.
alot of scrubing doe for a lil' 12" area of sticky residue.
took off the cobra emblem cause yeah i know that was kinda shady, but now looking jus for a pony emblem to slap on. if anybody want to trade of buy mine, its all good.

Take them off. If there's any difference ion the paint you can buff the area out.

huh???? u talking bout the residue area. yeah the goo-gone worked, and can't even notice any fading from the decals on the paint. but gonna do clay bar pretty soon.

took decals off my black truck when it was 2-3 years old and in direct sun.
i noticed a little bit of difference but after a few weeks it faded to match and you cant tell any difference. and that was without waxing it afterwards
