Difference in front lower control arm lengths...
I'm trying to find the difference in front lower control arm lengths between fox, 94-98 & 99-04 lower control arms.
I have what i know to be fox arms and they are 13 1/8" - 13 1/4" from center of ball joint to center of the k-member mounting points. I have another set that I just installed that are supposed to be 94-98, but I think they are 99+ instead. They measure 15". Does anyone know the actual lengths?

Anyone???
I imagine some of you have your 94-04 stang in the air, can you PLEASE run outside and measure a lower control arm for me? ![]() Measure from the imaginary line between the k-member bolts to the center of the ball joint. Thanks!

From what I have read over the years the T-Bird and SN95 are the same length. Here is a direct quote from the Mustang Performance Handbook 2:
The SVO control arm is 14" long measured from the line running though the bushings to the ball joint. Fox body (no year given) arms are 13" and the 87-88 T-bird are 13.75". The k-members are different also. The SVO is 29.5" wide (between LCA mounting points) in the back and 23.0" in the front. The arms are angled forward at 14.5 degrees for an overall ball joint to ball joint distance of 53.36". Pre-88 GTs are 30.125", 22.75", 16.5, and 51.37" respectively. Post 88 GTs (not including SN95s) are 31.125", 23.75", 16.5, and 52.37". Unfortunately it does not cover the SN95 cars in that quote but like I said they are supposed to be 13.75" according to most readings. Now with all that said I read a thread on Corner Carvers and a couple of the guys on the thread work for Ford and have access to the drawings. He actually mocked up the Fox and SN95 control arms and came up with the SN95's being 1.22" longer. With that said I would say that the above reference and the Mathis book are both incorrect in stating that the SN95 control arm is 3/4" longer than a Fox control arm. Here is the link to the thread at CC, its long but a great read: '03 Cobra a-arms, ooor..... - Corner-Carvers Forums Darren
