looking to get a dish which company is better? do any of ya'll got one of these companies? get at me please. thanx crew.

i've got dish and love it, friend of mine has direct and i can't stand the control i've only lost the dish signal about 4 times in 3 years + PVR FTW

Directv by far.. have had both services. Dish is alittle cheaper but not by much but you get so much more with directv. you can get TIVO with directv without having to buy a separte tivo receiver. i think dish offers a DVR service but nothing is near as good as TIVO. Customer services is great with DTV also anytime i have any type of problem they fix it fast and always give me something for the trouble, either free service for a month or a couple of premium channels for free.

Direct TV here. Love it. Had dish network and it sucked, this coming from a guy who built the Atlas V rocket that launched the Dish network satellites.
