Do I have a PI Intake on my 00 GT?

Simple question but Im not sure of the answer. I know I have the PI heads, but when I see a PI intake advertized in Summit and other places, it says that they came stock on the 01 and later GT's. Soooo, would my 00 have the PI or not? Is there a way to tell by looking at it? Thanks

yes... the question is do you have the alum. cross over or plastic.. check the first tubeacross the front.. if it's aluminum, you're good to go, if it's completely plastic, i'd think about getting an aluminum one

99 + was the PI conversion Ford did. If you have the "all" plastic like David said, check with Ford for the recall. I know they extended the warranty time on it. If it is not leaking they won't fix it, but it is easy to make them leak....

Here, I'll do you one better, this is a NPI and a PI intake for your personal viewing pleasures.
The first is a NPI (all plastic) the second is a PI with the aluminum x-over.

werd. my mechanic buddy saved my ass the other day on this. i took my car to ford and got the new manifold w/alum crosssover put in for free. i checked the price for the parts while i was at ford. their parts guy told me that it was like 800 just for the manifold and related gaskets no labor. i got really lucky because if i wouldnt have brought it in my time limit would have expired and i would have been toast
