Do I need a tune?

I got my Mustang today and on the way home realized the speedometer was 10 miles faster than the car was going
Does it just need to be tuned?
If so
Where all does it?

You didnt mention what year model. But it sounds like you may have different gears in the rear end. A tune will correct it if the car is new enough, or ou may need a speed gear if its older (dont aske me the years).
You're close enough to Dallas, you can go there (Dallas Mustang?), or if you really want a good tune, go to Oklahoma City; lookup swtuning.com.

A dealer wont help you much.

not to mention adjust timing, turn off the 02's and what ever else you want to do when you start adding the mods.

Look in the parts for sale subsection.

Thanks for the plug David.

if you are tight on cash

a speedcal from dallas mustang will make the neccessary corrections. You can usually find a used one for only 50 bucks. I highly suggest this over a tuner if money is tight.
