I bought my car through a capital one loan and I only pay $275 a month, $150 for insurance (under my parents policy still) full coverage, and about $200 for gas. So... $625... not bad compared to some of y'all.

No, I don't watch my money that close. The '04 Cobra, '02 GT, '08 SS TB only cost us $265.00 a month for full coverage on all three vehicles w/ $250.00 deductibles. My gas bill a month is only about $50.00 a month since I drive a company truck throughout the week. Carol pays about $240.00 a month for her SS TB, and that's premium too. We have our 2 car loans, but that isn't a real big deal to us. We will always have at least one auto loan due to us always wanting another vehicle.

and actually thats really ok as long as they can handle the problem, ssfcu wanted me to pay for the mixup and wouldnt refund my money. this really is the same as keeping my money in a bucket in front of the building and letting people grab some if they know the bucket #. kinda dumb

Never heard back from SSFCU yesterday, but hopefully some good news today.

I think the thing that bothers me most is that damn interest rate. My car note should not be as much as it is each month. But that's my own fault for getting it on my own and not knowing what I was getting into. I'll just have to wait and see what I can get done...

They should have given you a # to call back within an hour to find out if you got approved yesterday or not. I would call back to find out.

denied... Looks like I'm running out of options here. I can either keep paying for it and suck it up, or get rid of it and save for a nice fox in a few months...

you can try a capital one and a couple others since you put that inquiry in with SSFCU. Did SSFCU let you know why you didnt qualify??

delinquent accounts and not enough credit history.

I think all of the delinquent accounts are from the surgery.

oh yeah that would hurt you.

let me do some research here at work and see what bank/credit unions are trying to get accounts right now. Sometimes when they are NEEDING business they will accept someone at a lower interest rate that they would normally not accept.

If you want me to help look for ya, can you pm me some info and ill see what i can find. I would need your credit score, age, and balance you want to refinance
