Does anyone in Dallas ever meet?

I just moved here and I wanted to know if anyone in the Dallas area ever got together. We use to in CS all the time when I was there.

There are a lot of car meets that happen around the DFW Area.. I just never see any posted on this board. Go visit www.dfwls1.com and look in the gtg forum and you will see all kinds of car meets people have put together.

i will start to look around then... I just want to meet some other Mustang peeps up here as all my friends are import guys or not car guys at all

i am actually already on there, but I have lurked for about a year now and never really post.

I have noticed that the members are all different from when I started... what happened to the site? New management roll in?

By any change will any of guys from the Dallas area will be hanging out this saturday night? I will be going this weekend to visit a couple of friends and it would be nice to hang out with you mustang guys.

yeah no one really likes those insipid bafoons... the suck :mustngsha

However, I really do think that most "car people" are self loving morons. If someone pulls up in a 12 sec Supra, and I drive a 10sec MGT (I don't by the way), I am still going to give that car props.

Some people just like to hate... sucks really if you ask me though. That is the one thing that really gets to me at car gatherings really!!!

I know. I would never ever ever ever tell someone their car is ugly or crappy or anything like that. Thats just impolite. I will tell you if you're slow though

MMCM is a great gtg to attend. I highly recommend that if you're looking for an actual car meet/gathering.

hahaha.... I have no problem admitting my car is slow. I drive a near stock 02 GT with exhaust

They don't have the MMCM anymore. They did away with it last year. But we do have something working right now.

dfwstangs.net does have a few gtg's going on around the metroplex so it helps out quite a bit being a member there b/c its my home city(ies)

Maybe LSS North will actually pick up. I used to post the North Fort Worth Tuesday meet all the time but it was always the same five people responding.

When the weather warms up again, I'm sure we'll be having the Sonic on Beach Street meets again.

Im like 94BoostDCobra.. I'm from Carrollton but now live in Tyler and make it back there every 3 weeks or so but cant ever find anything going on (as far as gtg's, late night stang hangs etc.) So somebody keep me posted! Im down for sure!
