i just got a sub does nayone know if i can install it and if it will work without and other equipment?

you have to have an amp and a box of course. what brand sub is it? whats the rms? what size is it? if its a smaller sub, like a ten, than you need at least 100 watts, maybe more. if its a big mofo, like a 15, than you're gunna need a lot more, like at least 800 watts, probably more.
