i have 315/50/17 on mine. i dont know what that would be in a 15
what is your gear ratio? then decide of how tall of a tire you want.

What gear ratio you running out back?
What is your overall combo, how fast is the car, what transmission and rear gear do you have? A 275/50/15 is around 26" to 26.5" tall depends on the wheels you use and exactly what brand of tire you get, the 275/60/15 is around 28" tall that height also varies depending on brand and wheel used. The 275/50/15 is around 11" wide depending on the wheels used, the 275/60/15 is about 9" to 10" wide depending on how wide of a wheel you use. With the 275/50/15 you will need to roll the wheel lips, to prevent them from cutting the tire. With the 275/60/15 you will need to cleance the inner wheel well primarly to the front inner, along with rolling the wheel lips.
The current combo is an '85 coupe with 302 bored and stroked to 364, Ported Twisted Wedge heads and a BXR intake, A9M ECM with a Moates chip, Doug Nash 5 spd, 4.56 gears, Hoosier 275/60/15 drag radials.
Daily driver '89 GT 302 stock block, crank, rods and pistons, ported GT-40P heads with stock valves, Ported Explorer intake, B302 cam, Z spec T5, 3.73 gears, Moates chip and no traction. Made 325 whp and 325 wtq.
