I hate to have to say it, but, that sounds like a civic with a can on it. Flowmasters are crap on any vehicle, but, especially on a 6er.

yeah, but you got a v8 too; some of us don't, so it makes a big difference in sound despite the 98 and 99+ hp gap.

i'm gonna be the mature one and tell you to keep your narrowminded opinions off the board and keep them to yourself or at least to PM's.

Can we get a mod to clean this thread up

there's nothing wrong with v6's.. having dualies doesn't make you a poser. the only time you're a poser if your mis-badged or have fake parts that don't do anything. i.e. GT's with mach and cobra parts on them (that aren't functional, etc)

the best sounding v6 setup i have heard is MAC LT headers and 2.5" h-pipe with a bassani 2.5" catback for a GT.. killer idle, not ricey at all, and all around deep throaty sound

I wish somebody could hear my 6er

I have true duals (custom fron muffler shop) with dual flowmaster super 40s (the black mufflers). no other mods beside that (when I took my cai off it actually made it deeper)

I have had guys at oil change places (experts ofcourse) and the ford dealorship tell me that it doesnt sound like a six at all (but not quite a gt )

Idles very deep bc of the super 40s

anybody in b/cs area are welcome to come over and listen if your bored
