Full exhaust or catback only? Most common is catbacks. Search for catbacks for the 3.8 and ull find two prime setups.... One requires no extra parts and Y's in the stock Ypipe and one will require a stock H pipe which can be found off a stock GT... lol easy to come by that, i have a stock H in my garage i took of my 03 GT.

This setup is 2.5 with 3in stainless steel tips from MAC... it requires an H-pipe which can be found off for pretty cheap as a GT take-off.

This setup is the same, 2.5 with 3in stainless steel tips but it mounts to the stock 3.8(v6) Y-pipe.

The h pipe off of any stock GT would b ok... what it is is that the v6 comes down as two from motor but being that it is a single pipe it Ys to one pipe. If u remove the Ypipe and bolt on a stock H pipe from a GT it will then be as easy as bolting on a Catback to a GT. And if ur wanting my H pipe message me and we can talk about that.

I would use the y pipe version for her situation. Install will be lesss hastle, power is neglegible regardless which way she goes. She should get a GT take off bumper to amke the install clean and oem looking. I hate pipes sticking out from under the v6 bumper

you can often trade with any GT the same color who runs dumps. find someone on the board or on the forum and ask them.
