Dyno Numbers :)

I got the car dynoed at Murillo Motorsports earlier today on a Mustang Dyno(I waws told that was one of the most accurate dynos). I have a s197 GT Mustang with only 2 mods, K&N intake (which i was told is the worst CAI for my car) and Magnapack Inline Muffers (axleback delete, also not made for my car. Had a custom install). I was expecting around 270rwhp since the car stock is around 255rwhp. Well i was really surprised and happy when my ride put down two runs at 295rwhp and 303rwtq. I dont like the fact that my torque went down but overall im happy. I have two videos i will post once i get home and get them off of the dvd.

thats incorrect. a car with my mods normally would be around 275rwhp
rowdyjohnny has WAY more mods than me. He also has a tune, that is worth about 20-30hp. if i had a tune i would be around 315+. He also has the delete plates and a better intake. My exhaust i think is what helped out alot.

delete plates only help with throttle response, and an intake is an intake your k&n is just as good as his if not better. AND his tune was all messed up when he changed it to 93 octane
and exhaust will only add so much regardless of what kind u have...

not trying to start anything bro, those are good numbers anyway u look at it...

no trying to start anything either, but i have talked to him and he said when he got the 305hp he had a tune on it and other mods. dont know the octane i just know it is a tune thats better than the stock one i have also. When you look at intake and hp gains, k&n is at the bottom, way bottom, Jlt and c&L get way better numbers. i think he has jlt. A friend of mine has a gt/cs with the same intake as me and borla exhaust and did 275. The only difference is the exhaust.

Again im not trying to start anything but everyone says my numbers are high for the TWO mods that i have and i remember johnny saying he had more.

lol ill be honest ray i have a hard time believing that your "custom" exhaust gave u that much hp. how many pulls did u get? you have n NA car.. blown cars barely get 30hp for full header back exhaust lol..

you said ur model stang dynos stock at around 260~ you really think u got 40RWHP from moving your mufflers to a diff spot and an o/r midpipe? lol...oh wait cant forget the air filter...

not doggin u or ne thing... just saying

altho i think ryans a d-bag..i think his car has a lot more in it than 120.. thats ridiculous. lol

different cars different motors. I would understand if this was on a dyno jet. But this was on a mustang dyno. I did two pulls and their was only a difference of 1 hp. I have the PAPER to proof it if you wanna see it. like graves said the DYNO dont lie. Dan got 25 hp from his mufflers and i c&d said that the kn is about 15hp increase. last time i checked 25 + 15 was 40, but i could be wrong.

I still dont understand why someone post a freaking dyno pull on a mustand dyno(said to be one of the most accruate) and people post the crap they do. I was going in thinking my car was around 275hp and i got a surprise of 295hp so i post that and one person tells me that is too low and another tells me that is impossible. Well there were about 15 people there that watched it, i have it on tape, and I have the freaking DYNO SHEET!! I really dont wanna turn this into an agrument but i really dont understand why someone would post like. With that said im done with the topic, A mod can close this thread so it doesnt get out of hand. Thanks guys
