E cam vs n-41 cam

So im trying to decide what cam to go with. 308 with trw's, stock crank and rods, avenger aluminum heads, victor jr intake and 670 holley vac sec. Any suggestions?? I want a fast ass street car with .550 lift or lower and I have 1.6 rockers to work with. Also what's everyones thoughts on running either a single pattern cam or a dual pattern cam?? I would like to get a cam with duration at .050 around the high 220's to the low 230's.Any suggestions??? Thanks

A basic rule of thumb for n/a SBFs is
10 to 14 degrees more duration on the
exhaust side to help the small port.
With the heads you have it isnt as important
but I still like the dual pattern cams.
Both of my custom grinds also have dual patterns.

the anderson is agressive and wil be a better cam with yoru c ombo than the e cam

did rick anderson recommend this cam for your combination?

you will NEED 4.10s most definitely.

also if you find a deal on a comp xe 274 or 276 pick it up.

peaks around 5600-5800

peak toprque just after 4k

Its a sweet little street car powerband. 12.50s on drag radials

If I were building a car to run high 11s I would do some AFR 165s 276hr blower cam and systemax intake with 4.30s. 1 3/4 LTs 3 inch exhaust,

nice recipe for 335+ at the wheels

Nah I didn't get the recommendation from Anderson. Just heard a lot of good things about the n-41 and the n-61 cams. Another thing, my roller rockers are very noisy, actually annoying, some more than others. Is this normal?? Do I need to check if they are at zero lash?? Ive heard on the ford motors that the rockers are just bolt tdown and ready to go. Is this only with a pedestal set up?? I have full rollers with the locking nut inside them so im assuming I should go back and set everything at zero lash just to make sure there aren't any that are looses. Any ideas????

Well I just set them at zero lash plus a half turn and it's a lot more quiet now. My 670 holley street avenger carb I just got 2 days ago came with 65 jets in the front and 68 in the rear. I did a plug reading and my plugs were pitch black from before with the 750 and now were white and clean. I uped the jetting to 70/72 and man the car runs so much smoother now. Less rocker arm noise and not a big hesitation. Still my problem is that when I go WOT the car bogs bad and doesnt start pulling till 4k. Im pretty sure the 308's, stock cam and the victor jr intake dnt help that much. When I switch to the n-41 cam im changing the intake to a edelbrock air gap intake. Victor intake has a power band of 3500-8000 compared to the air gap of 1500-6500.
