Here's a link to a list of what it took when I swapped over to my mach.
Eaton Swap..... - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club For a 2v, you would need a different intake if they offered one or switch over to a 4v engine. I had the heads but sold them already. I still have the aluminum block and forged crank from a 99-01 cobra. From there you would need the heads, valve covers and whatever is left on the list to complete the swap. (timing cover, balancer) That or I might be pulling my longblock out this winter for a built block and selling it complete from valve cover's to oil pan. You would still need the complete eaton setup though. Best deal would be find a wrecked or blown motor cobra engine and see if you can pick that up. I seen a couple of them sell recently for about 5k-6k. |

It's easier to do it on a 4v. Less parts you have to acquire.
If you have a 2v, it's easier/sometimes cheaper to just swap motors or get a blower of some kind.

Coming to a 17" rim near you

there is a company that makes an intake for 2vs. the downside though is its like 1500-2000 for it.. for the money u spend on that + everything to make it work... you might as well have bought a purpose built supercharger for your app. the eaton is cool but it is not one of the best for your hard earned doller(on a 2v... a 4v it doesnt cost as much to make it work)

Keep in mind that there was a very good reason that Ford, Mercedes, Jaguar, GM picked the Eaton style supercharger. They wanted to keep at least some decent mileage. A KB or Whipple are compressors so they are always on, so expect mileage, even in cruise, to drop about 10-15%. An Eaton just moves volume, so mileage stays the same, and in some cases goes up. I got like 28 MPG on my last 300 mile trip with the TTI kit.

Well I did the Tork Tech thing with the new Magnuson Generation 5 Eaton. A little 1.8L is making more power than a 2.1L KB at about the same boost. With a 3.1 upper pulley mine is at 425 rwhp, and ad some VP103 it went to 445 with some more timing. I was reading on svtsnake.com where a Saleen guy (99 or 2000 I think) was well over 500 rwhp with 60 pound injectors, dual pumps etc. at 12 pounds of boost with the same kit I got. There are a bunch of video's popping up on youtube from guys that have tested the same kit. I kinda pushed my luck and popped the rods out at 437, so next time the better rods and slugs go in first.
