so i know i should probably know all this already
but i have yet to have to take my car for an emissions test (if i have to)

so..
can anyone tell me if people in san antonio are required to pass emissions?? also, if we are, I've been looking into an EGR delete.. would that then be illegal?

San Antonio doe not yet do emissions checks. But they may not be too far off in the future. Read somewhere that if we have too many Ozone alert days again this summer they might look harder at implementing the sniff check.

Right now I think they only do the visual inspection to see if you have cats installed.

Also as far as I know I think if your check engine light is on it's an automatic fail.
