Engine rebuild time
The rally car needs a new engine. Can any one direct me to a source that gives the bore and stroke needed to make a 302 in a 347?
TIA Richard Whoops, should have put this in the tech section. Last edited by RichardM; 04-29-2008 at 01:49 PM. |

Yep, and my co-driver and wife are still mad at Dallas Mustang because they sold us new suspension pieces for our 1997 Cobra and did not tell us that we needed a few more piece to be able to align the suspension.

Box Foxes Rule!!!

4.030 bore x 3.00 stroke = 306
4.030 bore x 3.25 stroke = 331 4.030 bore x 3.40 stroke = 347

I like the 331 as the ring package is in a better
position on the piston than the 347.However there is a 347 setup that puts the rings above the wristpin hole. I believe its a CHP setup.
