Actually I was right about the degree not being accredited, but you can still get a license with the degree it just takes longer..
http://www.tbpe.state.tx.us/lic_basic.htm ENTC is a TAC/ABET accredited program but it is not an accredited degree... |

They don't have as much theory, but trust me they are hard. I am a TET (telecomm) major. We take a lot of circuit design classes... more than a EE does. We take software oriented classes as well as hardware oriented classes. Every class has a project involved. I have designed an ECU, designed protocols, networks (both both and data), played with IPv6, fiber optics, SONET, ATM, Frame Relay, and other leading technologies. Basically, if two machines/networks can communicate, I can tell you how down to the bit level. I'm a nerd basically!!!
