Actually I was right about the degree not being accredited, but you can still get a license with the degree it just takes longer..

ENTC is a TAC/ABET accredited program but it is not an accredited degree...

Hey I guess I learn something everyday, I was just going on what I've been told. I really didn't think you could become a licensed engineer with an ENTC degree. As for the major being easy I realize that any degree from A&M takes some work, but I've known people who dropped out of engineering and went into ID and they said it was a joke compared to engineering. I've always thought of the ENTC program as a different college also. As far as programming goes I don't don't consider it engineering, however circuit design yes that is engineering I took a circuits class and it was horrible. We'll have to get together and talk about our curriculums. I'm interested in what kind of classes you have had.
yeah I just went back and read my past post... I was a bit harsh. I have had a LONG day, so when I wrote it I was in a bad mood. Sorry.

And ID is a JOKE!!! A COMPLETE JOKE!!! ENTC and ID have actually split. I could not agree more about ID. ENTC Telecomm, Manufacturing, Mechanical, and Electronics are VERY difficult majors. They don't have as much theory, but trust me they are hard.

I am a TET (telecomm) major. We take a lot of circuit design classes... more than a EE does. We take software oriented classes as well as hardware oriented classes. Every class has a project involved. I have designed an ECU, designed protocols, networks (both both and data), played with IPv6, fiber optics, SONET, ATM, Frame Relay, and other leading technologies. Basically, if two machines/networks can communicate, I can tell you how down to the bit level. I'm a nerd basically!!!
