Erratic idle
If its not one thing its another. So I just had the starter replaced yesterday and a new "problem" became more apparent. Before the starter was replaced it only did this every now and then, but now its real bad. The idle will sit at 2K or 3K RPMs(at stoplights and what not) till I give it a shot of gas and then it goes down real slow. I start my car and it will idle at 1k and then I rev it up to about 4k and it drops REAL slow sometimes stopping at 2k or 1.5k. Any ideas?

It could be a bad or mis-adjusted TPS sensor or more commonly is the IAB (idle air bypass) that is dirty. You can check the voltage on your TPS sensor and it should be at about .95v with the key on engine off and about 4.5 with the throttle body wide open. To clean the sensor just take it off of the TB and spray TB cleaner in it until it comes out clean or just take it apart and use TB cleaner and a cotton swab to do the cleaning. Also you need to check for vacuum leaks and un-metered air entering before your MAF sensor.

I think I got it taken care of, somebody suggested that I put some di-electric grease on these 10 pin connectors(black one and white one that are back by the intake) and crimp the female parts. It seems to be idleing alot better now, so hopefully the simplest fix was the right one.
