ET Streets/Drags Sizes
What are you guys running on your 05+ GT's (those that do, perhaps maybe Dean can answer this) in terms of tire size.
I have some fund coming my way soon and the 06 will be seeing track duty more and more. We're looking at (my GF and I) some tires/wheel combo for the 06. In terms of choices, we'd prefer ET Drags or ET Streets. Compared to what I ran previously, 26x10.5x15's on my 99 GT back in the day, I know 15's won't cut it on the 06. Using, say a basic 16x7.5 wheel (maybe a V6 wheel) what max tire size can we go with. Factoring in a offset change if we go with a 99-04 V6 pair of wheels. I was thinking 26x10.5's or 26x11.50's. Anyone? We are soon going FI either Whipple or a hairdryer. Being that we still have deciding to do, I don't think its going to affect tire choice. (I know I could go way more but I am not going to, this is a tire thread not a tuning capabilities thread) We want to run a tire capable of hooking well on stock gearing 3.55's. The car may or may not see the occasional use of a 50 shot on top of the boost to get us some low 11 sec timeslips.

you can fit anything you want realy a 29.10.5 will fit the 325 50 15 drag radial will fit.
if you mean on a stock 17 inch tire you can prety much put any of the available 17 inch drag radails on the stock rim. a 345 hoosier actualy still fits. the 275 is the most popular but its a bit smaller the the stock tire. however the 275 drag radial woll easily put you in the mid 1.5 sixty foots if you drive it right.

Stick car, 3.55 gearing, I know it should hook well. I'd like to go with a dedicated pair of track tires. ET Drags or Streets would work unless there's a higher benefit of runnin a DR.
I need to stick with a 16" diameter as I don't feel like spending more on the Weld XP wheels. Probably a 16x10 if possibly, 16x9 at minimum. I'll go 11.50's or wider on that size wheel or 10.50 on no less than a 7.5" wheel. My main concern was the height. If a 29 will work, then a 28x11.50 shouldn't be an issue. Dean, do you have any tires layin around that're going up for sale? I dont mind how many passes as long as they have a few left before I buy a new pair.

I run 26x11.5 Mickey Thompson ET Streets on 99-04 v6 wheels (16's) with no problems...I just need to buy some skinnies for the front and I'll be happy...
