    ET streets or NT05 R

looking for a set of drag radials, im tired of shitty 60 foots on street tires at the track. i know alot of guys run with the MT ET streets but havent heard bad about the nittos either. looking to get them in 275/40/17. wich would you guys recomend, how did they effect your 60ft times and 1/4 mile ET and mph

I cut a 1.6 with my NT-05's. However they lasted barely over a year.

NT-05 Rs are an extremely soft compound tire, I would think they should hang with et streets easily.

im not to worried about longevity as i dont do much track racing except for the ocasional trips to SAR every couple months, i dont want to say yes to MT when nittos are just as good or vis versa. i have never ran an drag radials before so i really dont know what to look for when it comes to these tires

Bro if you daily your car a lot...pick up a set of the 555R's...unless you are making a shit ton of power they will do good for your occasional track trip and be more than good for any roll ...if you do that sort of thing....

NT05R's or ET streets i think you can't go wrong with either. Both are sticky as long as it is dry outside.

yea i do the whole roll thing but its not my cup of tea all the time. i think im better off using my stocker 15 inch rims and slap some meat on them to help cut down my rotating mass, my car dosnt make much power as is but is good enough to cut low 14's (6cylinder)
