Event Ideas

Ok...the time of the year is approaching that is perfect for outdoor activities. How about we post up some ideas for fun outdoor day and whole weekend events. Then I will research some and plan a couple of events ahead of time so we can all mark our calendars. The only thing I can guarantee is good people, good food, and good fun....the rest is up to ya'll!!

i say we get togather at a lake and BBQ, fish whatever just BS around.

My parents moved to BFE, and they have a pond in the front that has lots of fish....once we get some more ideas out there, I can talk to them about a BBQ out here.

I think that's a great idea....

i am always up for a bbq

not sure about camping unless i have running water or a cabin or...

we can rent a couple hotel rooms on the riverwalk and just party with good friends and great people.

hey... that would kick ass! we could do a cruise to there... down 46, and then go fishin' and have bbq. and there'd be plenty of room to park.

i'm not sure about cabin camping... but i've almost always gone electric/running water. so it's not that bad. most of the places i go have decent showers as well.

I'll get the plan in motion for the BBQ, and I love love love Julie's idea.

I went down there with my parents to the Home and Garden Show this weekend...I know...but I was bored....but anyways, I thought to myself...dude, it would be cool to come down here, get a hotel, and party on the Riverwalk sometime....I'll check into that too!

I have yet to go to the riverwalk since i have lived here. It would just be nice to hit up all the different places, not worry about the cab or who's gonna have to drive home, and then relax in a jacuzzi tub just talking and drinking.

and jeff: I would consider the outdoors thing. Can't pass up a bonfire with beer involved.

well i second the camping idea if i could get my mom to go then i would probably be down for some drinking(kool-aid of course

) too, but definately something at a lake too would be really fun.

... i have a HUGE 4 room tent i havnt used in a while and would definatelty want to use.

persoanlly i dont like the riverwalk idea i dunno i wouldnt be able to do alot of the stuff anyways so i guess thats part of the reason i wouldnt like it.

Were still planning an event of some sort out here in da country. Maybe picture taking, bonfire, cookout, and camping. When the time nears i'll let everyone know.

just dont go in the water, there are monsters.
