raced a buddy of mine on sat night who just brokein his new Lancer EVO. we raced about 6 times and about three of the runs were decent.

1st run- from a stop, i honked took him off the line, and stayed there about 2-3 cars ahead.BUT turns out he couldn't hear my honks over my exhaust.:2thumbdwn

2nd run- from a 30 role on, i put about the same on him.

3rd run-from a 45 role, same as above.

4th run-from a stop, i missed second and we stoped for the 5th run.

5th run-from a stop, he misses 2nd, we stop AGIAN for the 6th run.

6th run-stop AGAIN, i do a nice little one wheel peel and he pulls me off the line and i catch up and pass him by the middle of third.

I gota give this little evo mad props for doing as good as it did vs my full bolt on car. Elliot says, GOOD JOB SA EVO GUY!

i kinda also had the advantage, he had just filled up w/ gas and we also had just drivin back from s/m but i figured the newer cars don't really get heat soaked like the 5.0's do.
Also the EVO got killed by Nighthawk in S/m the same night!:threegear
Brian even out launched him from a stop. GO BRIAN!
Maybe brians title should be Launch king?
