Exhaust

Hey guys,
I'm doin some research on different exhaust setups for my 03 v6. I've got the stock setup on there now. I haven't decided if i want just a single replacement muffler, or GT takeoffs, or GT takeoffs with new mufflers. I'm still doin the research on all that. I was wondering what's a good place around here to have exhaust work done? I live on the west side, so something nearby would be good, but I dont mind goin farther for a good shop.

wow, what a coincidence. I just so happen to have a set of GT take-offs, cut just past the mufflers, so it would be perfect for you! Let me know if you are interested.

go dual. i dont think youll get what your looking for by just slapping in a new muffler. There are plenty of options available exhaust wise. I went with a side exit system that is completely bolt on. If you want to go rear GT take offs are a great way to go, just have the rest of the system fabricated by an exhaust shop and welded in.

That's what I have in mine, as for a shop you can try Salinas Muffler shop on Quintana Rd right by the East Kelly gate.

Ya i think i'm gonna stick with the spintech's...flows sound good but i'm just worried about how they sound up high. Spins seem to ownerize . just gotta decide if i wanna get gt takeoffs or have the shop do the rest of the work.

you can get the takeoffs and weld in the mufflers you want and have a shop custom fab the pipe youll need to replace the stock y be it straight pipe or a crossover (h or X), probably the quickest safest bet is take offs.

I just got back from a few muffler shops around town. Salinas Mufflers looks like an awesome deal. I bring them the Spintechs, they'll do the custom piping , with 3" chrome tips, for $150. I can get the spins for like $140 shipped, so $290 for kickass exhaust =
