why the hell does everyone talk shit about glasspacks.. they sound freakin bad ass. im sorry that i dont like flowmasters...
glasspacks have been put on cars for yrs, just because ppl dont use em all the time dosnt mean n e thing. |

i dont like flowmaster but cherry bombs sound like a truck. thats why i dont like them. if you want your mustang to sound like a truck be my guest. lambodoor and neon kits have been put on cars for years also, does that mean that you should??

lol when i go to krystals i hang out with the stangs not ricers. I never said they were MADE for trucks, i said they SOUND like trucks. big trucks nasty trucks... bad sound IMO...but its your car do what you like. why ask for our opinons if your gonna shoot them down or question them??? I have seen 3 cherry bomb threads in the past month and no one has supported them!

The 65 and 66 Shelbys had glass packs and megaphones they sounded great. I have an X pipe with Dyno Max race magnums, which are basicaly glass packs. They sound great. I have installed many pairs of of both the Race Magnums and the Bullets. The bullets look like large version of glass packs. Every thing that I have put them on sounded great. X pipes change the sound greatly, they give it a raspy sound that is very distinct, no matter what muffler you use. Just make sure it is fast if you are going to make it loud. Loud slow cars are for loosers.

 My car is an '85 sonic blue coupe with 302 bored and stroked to 364, Ported Twisted Wedge heads and a BXR intake, A9M ECM with a Tweecer, C4 with trans brake, Hoosier 275/60/15 drag radials, no power adders. The car is still street driven, with a best of 10.21 at 131 mph with a 1.51 60' spinning lightly. With this combo it made a best of 460 hp and 410 lbs of torque at the wheels. |
