Exhaust for '98 GT/Cobra

My coworker and I are looking at getting an exhaust put in. I have a Cobra he has a GT. I personally like the spintek sound. He wants to go x pipe into flowsmasters but I've heard a lot of poor things about them. The guy he knows who'll do it cheap around here has Magnaflow, flowmaster and bassani. I had bassani on my L and loved it. Are there any pro's/con's to these? Im sure theres a huge post about this somewhere on here but I wanted some fresh opinions.

Flows sound like ass, Bassani's are badass but pricey, and Magnaflow has good sound(read: not as good as bassani) but are reasonably priced

My friend posted a short video on streetfire.net I think the name of vid is "mystic cobra roasting the tires" or something like that. The car had '98 cobra rims on it at the time of the video so if you see it thats the one.

I've got that exact combo
bassani-x into flows with stock headers and I love it. But I've always wanted to see what a full bassani system would sound like
