Exhaust help needed

I installed my gt-takoff exhast today and now i'm getting a strong vibration when i'm idling. i'm thinking that the mufflers are bumping the side so i'm gonna get some 40 series flows put on next weekend. any reccomendations on what 2 do be/w now and then?

If they are touching what is changing to flows goin to do? Crawl back under the car and with it running look and listen youll be able to see if and where they are hitting. Then just make an adjustment to them to get um off the car and problem is solved.

flows are smaller than these boat anchor stock ones plus i'll have the place that installs them to fix it.

are you using rubber exhaust mounts or welding them solid to the car?

i had a guy weld mine solid to the car and my car vibrated bad, changed it to how it was suppose to be done and the vibration went away.

like the others said, take a look and see if you can find any contact. flows are rather large mufflers, and wide. the gt muffs are more ovaloid and smaller.

you may want to double check, 40 series 3 chambers is what i saw about 2-3 days ago they were rather wide. any of them will fit though, so get what you want. :pickle:

Yea but if there is a rattle under there changing mufflers is not going to fix it. If you shake your pipes they should almost be impossible to move. Make sure you have checked all the hangers and bolts make sure they are nice and tight.

I still have mine welded on and the vibration is very noticeable, one of these days I'll do it right, but I'm already used to it.... :pickle:

Not to insult your intelligence or anything,
