Exhaust hitting!!!!!

Who ever had my car before cut or burn the springs and car is too low and since I put my exhaust on its hitting and what would help I plan on doing spings will the sport or pros work or will that be too low. I dont have headers its rubbing where h and cat meet. I plan on just doing the back spings for now will that work.

i have eibach pro kit and LT's i hit on bigger speed bumps, but forget it when someone is in the back scrape scrape. Without headers you should be ok with either, but i am not an expert just my .02

I am not understanding that all the way.

The exhaust rubs the under body near the cats?

No when I come to a bump or uneven road it hits the bottom of the catback and H flanges its not hitting the underside of the car. When I see u at biffs or fudds I will show you. Shit when I just had my exhaust welded on wed when I was driving the car back off the lift the exhaust got stuck coming down and had to put some boards to come off. Its toooooooo low I'm sure if I put some eibachs or whatever but I just want to make sure before I buy it and there is no difference how can I tell how low my car is now since the stock springs are cut I believe I'm lower than 2 front and back.

You can bring it by the shop sometime, I can look at it and possibly fix it too. Thursdays are good for me in the late afternoon time.. like 4 pm or later.

I use pole jacks to help manipulate low exhaust.

Send a message via Yahoo to BaggedAndBoyds
i think it may be something to do with your pipes...because i had my car droped like 3 3/4 inches in the front and 3 in the rear after i put the eibachs on...and hardly rubed anything...unless it was a big speed bump....but also knowing your car is lowered you have to kind of figure out what will scrape and what wont and drive accordingly...

you may also want to go back to the shop you had the pipes put on at and ask them to adjust it to hug the body as close as it can.....thats what i did when i got mine put on....

hope some of that helps...

Your car must be very low.... I dont know how low ud like it to be but i lowered mine and my previous stangs both by 1 1/4 and its perfect. I also had mac longtube headers with a pro chamber and if your familular with the prochamber from mac, it hangs pretty low. 1 1/4 is the most id go with that prochamber or even without it for that matter. the pro chamber scratched a lil on bumbs and stuff but nothing serious. the springs were ford racing springs from American Muscle.com price is nice also.

I have the prochamber on mine, with sportlines, and I have to take speedbumps REALLY slow. When is does hit, it is usually on the front portion (the legs that connect the chamber to the stock manifolds). When I installed the mid pipe I left everything a little loose and used a bottle jack to the hold the chamber nice and tucked as high as I could get it. I still only have a few inches (like 4"-5") of clearance to the exhaust..

I'll try and take a pic of the clearance.. Here are some of the ride height:

Whats the drop on your car? Prochamber is nice and high, wait till you put long tubs on.... U will have to reset the whole exhaust cause it throws it off and drops that pro chamber. Below is a pic of my previous mustang with the long tubes prochamber and catback all from mac. and a video below that. For anyone curious as to what the full set sounds like, watch it. It was great while i had it will have the full setup again on this new stang in a month or two.

and a VID

Not sure on the overall drop, I lost the stock measurements. I would estimate around 2" or so, probably a tad more. That would suck to have the chamber that low. Not sure if I would attempt to do long tubes on this car, at least as long as it's my daily. I scrape enough as it is.
