If you can get the tranny rebuilt for $550 than thats what I would do and then reinstall it. There arent many people that want to have to go through all that work and still pay $5500 for the car. There are plenty fox body out thee for sale with good trannys in them just as clean in the same price range or even less.

How do the headlights look under the blackouts?

do you mean how good does the light show threw???
if so i have blue tinted light bulbs so its not that bright I have to have my brights on most of the time, but i also have hyperwhite bulbs and those still lite up pretty well without the brights
