they are really not as loud as you would expect. you can definately hear the car pretty well from outside, but suprisingly inside it's calm. It does NOT sound like a car without a muffler which is what this setup is. Also they are not blatty like sn95ne, and f-body cars I've heard with the loud mouths. they are absolutely legal, and do not violate any db laws. if I get a wild hair, I'll look for some sound clips.
