I'd much rather be driving/modding a gt though Trying to make a v6 fast sucks the money out of your wallet so quickly
Its not really that expensive, you know how much I've spent on my car... You have to shop around speaking of which I added something to the car yesterday :P

PS: I have a vortech kit for sale still

on the s197 v6 you can see a 20-25rwhp can with a good CAI (JLT) and canned tune (bbr, jdm, or bamachips)

if you have an auto i would recommend bamachips. Good thing about this is a used CAI is only 100-120bucks and the canned tunes are 50 bucks. so for less than 200 bucks you can get a nice gain.

Yup, another good CAI is C&L racer or street.
Bamachips has awesome tunes, haven't had a chance to run my 93 tune though.

OP, CAI, exhuast, gears and tune will be plenty for what you want.

I understand that ryan i was just stating hed also have to buy a tuner, which would raise the ~200 to ~400 on the very low side

as long as you get a tune you should see some decent #'s i would think......but you HAVE to get a tune unless you get the K&N i believe

you can buy a canned tune like mentioned above, as long as you already have the tuner.......otherwise maybe check out a cpl sponsors?
