Few more Houston weekend events
Like there's not already enough going on in Northwest Houston - Nifty Fifties show every Saturday night starting at 5pm, in the Kroger parking lot on Spring Cypress and Champion Forest. I'll be hanging out at that one this weekend.
And most Friday nights, there's a gathering at 2920 and I-45 in the parking lot behind the Raceway Fuel station. Word has it, ususally over 75 cars show up, not just Stangs. There's also a Thursday night meet in the Katy area, see posts on WestSideStangs for info. If I hear of more, I'll post up. Thank God spring is finally here for car people to GET OUT! |

Wont catch me back out at Nifty Fifties! Obviously you cant even park your car near the car meet...even outside of the cones! The Nifty Fifties car meet BS people had Harris County cops come over to my car and ask me to please leave because they do not allow "car shows within car shows"!!! Apparently my stock Mustang was drawing in too much attention in the Kroger parking lot! I feel sorry for all the rich people that try to go shopping and that are asked to leave! Yall have fun...Kemah is the place for me since obviously the peopel are stuck up damn snobs!!!!!!!!!

Don't take offense with them.....it's a show for the older muscle cars and we newer body styles just have to be content to park on the perimeter.
By the way, I checked out your car. You were parked in front of the Chinese restaurant. Very nice and clean ride you have there. There were a few S197s tucked around, including a Shelby owned by a friend of mine. |

Yeah well they didnt have to call Harris County Police Department on me lol Its great they have a meet for older cars but do they have to kick out the new cars because they bring in attention? Oh well...I may wonder out there on night again, probably not, Im partial to the nice Kemah crowd! By the way...anybody who wants to come to the Kemah meets they are on Saturday nights across from the Boardwalk at the Target parking lot from 5-10pm. Any kinda car is welcome and we wont call the cops on you unless you act totally stupid.
