Finally Broke Down....

ME not the car.....

and bought myself a K&N air filter for the stang... lol.

I guess its about time. I just never bought it before cuz i didnt figure an airfilter can make that much difference. I'm still not that much of an almighty beliver of the all powerfull airfilter. However I needed my filter changed out, so i went ahead and broke down and bought it.

Is there really that much of a difference?

Either way its already in the car heh.

No.

only really noticeable difference would be that it will be the last filter you ever buy for that stang.

if your old filter was super dirty...and you replace it with a new new shiney K&N, you COULD possibly see like 5-10 at the wheels.

Congrats on the purchase. It's definately worth it in my opinion, as it's the last one you'll ever have to buy now.

I went to car show and they had a regular airfilter and a K/n with a pin ball attached to a string. And a fan on the other side blowing air through the filters. the regular airfilter was barely allowing the ball to move and the K/n the ball was moving alot with the Fan blowing through it.

i saw something like that at oreilleys on thousand oaks. gravity was pulling the ball down, and air comign thru the filter was keeping it up. interesting.. but makes you wonder how much crap is getting thru that filter.
