I finally got the new suspension and brakes on the Stanger!!! I'm going to borrow my father-in-law's trailer Monday and take it to get it aligned (if they're open Monday that is) Man I can't believe it took this long but little issues just kept turning into big issues, and as soon as I would take something off I would find another can of worms that I had to deal with...(like ordering strut rod adjusting nuts from Massachusetts!!! at $6 a piece omgwow: )But now EVERYTHING is completely brand new on the front end and rear end suspension!!! The only thing that is original is the spindles (which I stripped down, cleaned up and repainted) and on the brake system everything is brand new...EVERYTHING!!! New stuff/improvements added includes: 1. New Racing Front Sway Bar - twice as thick as the stocker 2. Rear Sway Bar - Added, it didn't have one stock! 3. All chrome taken off and repainted black (looks very sharp) 4. Converted old v-belt pulleys to a March serpetine/underdrive setup 5. Converted old sealed beam headlights to modern H-4s (looks kind've cool) 6. Converted from power to manual steering (cuz if that old setup isn't leaking it's dry!!!! )7. New Suspension was a 2" drop kit, w/ racing springs (well that's how they describe em' anyway) 8. KYB Gas Shocks all the way around Anyhoo, if I can get it aligned this week I may finally be able to meet some of ya'll at Biffs, I've been dying to go out there show off the stang and meet you guys, maybe hit some cruises whatever... Joe

I don't really know the brand...the entire suspension kit was from Laurel Mountain Mustang...I do know that the springs are almost twice as thick as the stockers!!!
By the same token, since I don't know the brand is why I use the term "racing springs" very loosely, ya know?!? ![]()
