I'd have to beg to differ. Had an MGW with the last stang and absolutely loved it. Don't have any experience pro 5.0 or steeda, but i know i couldnt have been happier with the mgw.

I've had both... MGW > Tri-ax. Only reason I have a tri-ax now is because I like my Hurst handle too much and you can't put a diff handle on the MGW.

lol u cant even see the tri-ax how would it be > in the looks...

iv spent seat time with all 3 major short shifter brands and they are all about the same.. around a 20-30% reduction.. MGW is not worth the extra $ IMO

the tri ax and others can use other brands handles...the MGW CANNOT.......

I have had seat time in Hurst and MGW and the MGW was 10x better. I have heard the same about the triax, roush, etc

1. MGW
2. B&M
3. Hurst
4. Tri-Ax
5. Pro5.0
6. UPR

by far, MGW is the best. positive shift points, smooth shifts inbetween. the lower you go on my list (pro5.0 and upr by far) are the notchiest.

*click* 1st gear *click* neutral *click* second *click* neutral *click* third etc...

yeah BIG J my list would be 100% the same way (except hurst over B&M because i have a hurst have have never felt B&M so that means Hurst would get the nod! lol )

my hurst is kinda notchy but only when putting into the gear. its smooth going to neutral.

so its would be like *click into 1st gear* put into neutrual, *click into 2nd gear*, neutral, *click into 3rd* etc....

I like it alot it gives me a sense of KNOWING its in gear...but the MGW was smooth as ICE!!!!

I had the Tri-Ax on my 03 GT and thought it was nice, too. Until I bought the MGW I have on the Bullitt.

The Tri-Ax was "loose" and sloppy, and in neutral, it moved side to side like the stock shifter. It also felt very mechanical.

The MGW shifter is tight, precise, and smooth. It looks nicer. The quality is better.
MGW is known for their quality pieces, and you get what you pay for. They also have a name to maintain. When I think of MGW, "high quality" is the first thing that comes to mind.

Don't hate on the MGW, street racer.

MGW > all other shifters.

It's a proven fact. Google it.
