First paid detail

Friend of mine brought me his 03 honda accord that had never been waxed ever with almost 70k miles on there i figured i would knock it out today. did the following with PC 7424
Wash with Megs Gold Class(ran out of poorboys)
Clay with Zaino clay
Optimum compound with orange pad on 5.5
SSR1 with white pad
Klearkote vanilla moose hand glaze on blue pad on 3
klearkote caranuba moose wax by applicator
per his request i didn't touch the wheels or interior
Before as you can see pretty bad swirls and in some of the afters you can even see my fatass in them. took about 6 hours with a couple breaks since it was damn near 100 degrees outside today.

After

become a traveling detailer...Go to big companies that have car garages and start that way. I know that a guy used to do that at Steve's dads work.

When i say big companies i mean like tall buildings with a bunch a tie wearin men and females.....just a thought.

Beautiful job, Timmy! The difference is amazing!!!

NEISD's main building on Tesoro has a big ol' parking garage full of cars in the shade ... And there are some little coin-op car washes nearby to hose the debris off before you start.

Flyers on the windows of the cars?

Offer several levels of service ... Basic, Enhanced, Gold and Platinum or some such terminology; with a clause that additional weather/age damage & large vehicles at an additional rate. That way you can give them a ball-park estimate beforehand and don't get all the cheap-o people wanting a full detail for $15!

The constable's office in the building next door (where I last worked) has a mobile guy that comes out and buffs out their headlights once or twice a year... The TC Building has some covered parking ... they'd be a good candidate, too.

There are several banks and little high-rises in that area of Naco/410 and Broadway/410 that would be cherry pickin's!!

There is good money in it, if you can stand the heat and the hard manual labor that goes into it!

If you want, I could help you create your flyer. Kinkos prints pretty cheap in volume.
