Fog Lights

Ive got a 99 GT, one of fog lights has been out for a while, I figured I need the whole thing, but found a site selling the bulbs for them, can I replace just the bulbs if they are stockers that came off of a Mach?

Nevermind I answered my own question, they take 893 bulbs... dumb ass. They sell em at autozone for 6.99 each. Gonna pick up a pair when I get a chance, then later get some of the $40 upgrades.

895's work too, they are 55 watt bulbs, only thing is, they produce mad heat and tend to crack the top housing and then allow water to get in and then you go through bulbs when it rains.

There is a trick though... but I am not gonna tell you what it is cuz you are not cool.

I do have some better bulbs though I can sell you.

I'll look at em when I get home. If I remember they are Halogens and ultra brights.

E-bay.... I scored mine for free, but had to jump through hoops to get them. But with the stock lenses, they all suck in brightness.

Yea I know, since mine are tinted I knew I wouldnt get a big difference with lower end bulbs. So the silver stars arent more noticeable? I know I aint gonna blind people with the fogs, I just want them to stand out.

The stock lenses are crap from the factory. The only way you will benefit will be by buying the ultra clears.

LOL, The reason why I want to keep my tinted fogs is because I am going to get dark headlights soon. At least I think my fogs are tinted... maybe they were just dirty when I looked at them... let me check, then I will get back to you.
