FOG LIGHTS NOT WORKING!!!!!

I have a 02 GT, and my fog lights do not work. I checked the bulbs and they were good. The swith inside works and says the fog lights are on, but they really aren't. Anyone out there have an idea on what the problem can be?

Well you need to trace the entire circut starting from the battery and make sure power is going where it should. If all the obvious things are OK it is time to do a little digging and see whats up. For some reason the power isnt getting to the bulbs or switch or relay. Good luck elec traces are a bitch sometimes

Do you need to borrow a volt-meter?

It's easy to check ... flip the switch to turn your fog lights ON, go out there and stuff the volt meter in the light socket -- and see if it's registering any power at the plug ....

If NOT, then start tracking it backwards ....

There are only a couple components that make it work:
Bulb
Wire
Fuse
Relay
Switch

One of them has to be the broken piece.

So just how did you test the relay then... swap it with a known good one.

test light to the fog light socket and ground... check for 12v with the switch on.
