Definately a clutch issue. Get that resolved and go from there. I stock UPR adjustable cable kits, new clutch kits and clutch forks.

Mike is real stad up guy and wont steer you wrong just to sell you some parts. He did wonders on my tranny as it didnt have reverse, and would grind in every gear when I bought the car. I gave him my trans on a Monday nite @ 7pm, and it was done the next day by 2pm. I dunno his workload these days, but I'll send anyone I know to him for sure

ya i had a 2000 GT with the black top i fucken miss that car....i sold it due to a crazy baby mama she tore up the top and slashed my fkn tires so i sold my vert and switched to another dream car(but is being a pain in the ass)

oh i found out i have a adjustable cable already no idea wat brand it is...it looks chromish so idk....oh ya and i just got a 600 dollar ticket friday so im not gonna be able to do my clutch any time soon unless the judge just lets me do time served for my warrent and breaking my probation...so either way im fucked haha j/k j/k

If your clutch pedal is riding low and the trans grinds going in to most gears, it sounds like there isn't enough tension on the cable/clutch fork and when you push the pedal down, it doesn't pull the clutch arm far enough forward to completely disengage the clutch from the flywheel. Jack up the car and have a friend push your clutch in. The clutch fork arm should travel nearly to the front edge of the opening in the bell housing. If it doesn't you need to put more tension on the cable and then go for a test drive. That may be all you need, but if it has been grinding for some time, then the syncros and other parts may be worn beyond a simple clutch adjustment. Hope it helps, but you are in good hands with The Source regardless.

Like with most clutch kits, give it a few hundred miles before getting on it.

i got a question too...when i put my car into third it scrathes (im thinking the syncro) but when i just try to put it into 2nd it will grind and sometimes pop out of gear...i can feel the shifter budging like it doesnt want to go in unless i pull it harder. But when im flooring it or down shift it goes in perfect and doesnt grind. it only does this when im going slow. is this my tranny? or maybe just the clutch and i have an adj clutch cable

Definately try to adjust the clutch first. If that does not help, you could have some syncros on their way out.

on the clutch fork, there is a cable that leads up from the clutch pedal, if ur tightin it up some more ur pedal will be a lil higher but if u do it to much it will sorta engage the clutch and ur gonna smell clutch a lot....so just do it until it feels a lil better...oh mike dude my clutch was like already metal to metal pretty much only a couple MM left on it a lot of heat spots
