turbo, but it depends on your budjet.
a SC will be much cheaper than a full on turbo setup for a mod motor.

One of the guys on TurboMustangs went 9.85 with a 4.2 turbo in his street car at FFW Commerce.

the turbo kit has a lot more hidden costs.
the kit does not mention tuning, you need a EGR block off plat, possible ABS relocation kit, battery relocation kit or new battery, and a few other items that will add up.
tuning can be expensive on turbo cars.
the vmp kit appears to include everything.
Install will be relatively straight forward on both.

yeah, turbo kits tend to need a few extra parts.

ok...so what yer saying is yer gonna plop a blower on then not tune it??..if it was me and trying to do what you're trying to do with a V6 then turbo it...it's free HP and no belts flying off it and stretching and such...you'll have less stress on a shorter crank also.....look at the Buick Grand National's they run good, make lots of power and still get decent gas mileage, are quiet when yer cruising down the road , hell ya can sit in the drive-thru and order without turning off the motor!!....Len

i'm not trying to do anything; and p.s. the original poster isn't me, i think you're looking into things too much. no one specifically said or suggested that they weren't going to tune a car after a major power adder.
