Does ANYONE have a hook/someone they trust that can help me out with a problem? Don't really want to get into it on the net, but after I had a 75mm TB and Plenum installed, I've had my SES light stay on for about 3 weeks now. I had a computer put on it, not from Ford, and I got code # P2272. All it says for that code is SEE SERVICE MANUAL. Dealership wants 70.00 to run it on there computer and then will charge labor if it's something they have to repair. Waiting for the shop to get back w/me to see what to do next. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Your code P2272 is for bank 2, sensor 2, lack of switching, biased lean. Check your rear O2 sensor circuits. Do you have MIL's? That would do it. We program the PCM, or make a custom chip to solve the rear MIL problem, for lack of cats.

Yeah, I have MIL's. I've had the o/r x-pipe on for about 6-7 months or so. The SES light has not come on before to right after I had the TB and new Plenum installed. BUT, you are a freakin' life saver. It was driving me crazy what the damn code was. Where exactly are you located or how would I get to your shop to correct this problem? I usually am off on Saturdays.

I went and had my MIL's changed out this morning and the SES light came off. Thanks again.

This may be a little late, but I do have some good conections, some work at Jordan Ford and another place, do great work and can usually help you out with any problem, haven't had one yet he doesn't get right. If you need gears I have the man, exhaust, suspension another guy. Just let me know, be glad to help.

Just keep in mind that MIL eliminators are not a good permanent fix, and I have seen them cause damage to the PCM, in some cases. The best way to solve your problem is by deleting the rear O2 switches in the software.
