Frankenstein Mufflers

I gutted my stock mufflers and they sounded great!

Plasma torch through two skins.

Keep the torch handy and cut out the baffle plates and open up the resonator.

Tig weld 'em back up. Don't leave any scraps inside or they will rattle!

It was too loud when I added an OR H pype so I went back to stock mufflers.

Just curious, how much did it change the sound when you did that?

i wonder how my flows would sound if that was done.

that's a very creative way to get the loudness you want.

like 1 chamber flows

have you seen the inside of flows? It uses rows of angled aluminum to deflect sound. the 1 chamber are ust very open with only 2

BPAs old car has a set that the angles had broken up. some were rattling and every now and then it would shoot a piece of metal out while doing a burnout at the track. we tried with vicegrips to pull it out but never could get it.

It's the poor mans fix. If you have access to the tools then the only real costs are welding supplies. Cheap.

Installation takes 30 min.

You can pick up a new set of mufflers from Brenspeed for about $90 in case you want to keep a factory set around.
