Front End and Disc Brake Conversions

Well I decicded to bite the bullet and tear the stang down, basically all that is left from the front clip is the block. I'm deciding to rebuild the front suspension like a bunch of ya'll recommended, and at the same time convert the front to power disc brakes. Here's my question.

I know that I need a new steering linkage, one from a manual steering setup, will the 69 work too or do I need just a 70? And then with my new gear box, are the steering shafts interchangeable, or is there a difference between a 70 manual and a 70 power steering? And finally, on to the elusive disc brake conversion.....My old set up, 4 wheel drums, no power assist, are the spindles interchangeable? Or is there a difference between the drum and disc spindles?
That's about it for now but I'm sure I'll have buttloads more questions....Thanx in advance...joe

ok man i did a disc brake converson on my 72 with ps so i dont know anything about that but yes u will need new spindles, bearings, seals, and you might want to check your lower ball joints i had to replace that whole arm there cheap like 40 bucks for each i have also found to search e-bay for some spindles thats whare i got mine you might also need a whole new brake assembley in the dash i had to find one and put that in it was a pain. you will also need new splash guards for the spindles and instead of getting new oem rotors i found it like half the price to get some drilled and sloted rotors new oem was like 220 for rotors and those i got were about 130 with shiping for the pair u will also need a new brake light switch and a new proportning valve like i said try and find some of these off e-bay thare are a few junk yards here in SA on the south and sw side that have some junked 69-73 mustangs if i can think of anythin else e-mail me
